The tracklist includes Freddie Hubbard's CTI anthem "Red Clay," Wes Montgomery's "Road Song" (representing the A&M/CTI era of the late 60s), Hubert Laws' "Bimbe Blue" (recorded not for CTI, but for Atlantic in 1966), Airto's Misturada (made famous in Brazil by Airto with the Quarteto Novo group in 1967, and mistitled "Mister Auda" on the DVD back cover), Flora Purim's "San Francisco River" (recorded on Airto's "Fingers" LP), and Antonio Carlos Jobim's bossa nova standard "Corcovado," recently introduced to younger audiences by Diana Krall as the title track of her latest CD "Quiet Nights."
