DVD of the Day - "Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark"

DVD of the Day

OMD: "Live - Architecture & Morality & More" (Eagle/ST2) 2009

Produced & Engineered by Julie Gardner.
For the early part of this tour, when OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark") reunited and undertook a tour in which they played theur third album in full -- including this concert recorded in the UK, at London's Hammersmith Apollo in 2007 -- the show was split into 2 halves. The first part of the evening was a complete performance of the "Architecture & Morality" album (1981), while the second half was a greatest hits covering the rest of the British electropop band's career. Extras include 20 minute interview with the band, interview with VJ Hambi Haralambous, and alternate editings of "Joan of Arc" and "The New Stone Age." Oh, how I miss the "Crepúsculo de Cubatão" nights... Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet, The Cure, nevermind...
