R.I.P.: Tim Eyermann


Saxophonist Tim Eyermann died May 1st in Miami at the age of 60 of complications from lung cancer. The Pittsburgh-born musician played with the Airmen of Note before he founded his own fusion band East Coast Offering in the 70s. He worked with jazz musicians such as Maynard Ferguson and Larry Coryell as well as with pop stars such as Julie Andrews, Tony Bennett and Anita Baker. Obituary: Washington Post .
